Cabernet Franc
Estate-grown and estate-bottled. Cabernet
Franc is a "cousin" of your other favorite Cabernet Sauvignon, and becoming
more popular as a "stand alone". Aged in French oak for 24 months, this is a
very rich, jammy wine! Mild port aroma on the nose, big berry flavors and a
hint of chocolate, this wine pairs well with both main entrees and dessert.
If you have never had a Cabernet Franc.....you won't want to miss this one!
2006 Petit Verdot
This is our second offering for the wine you rarely see as a
"stand-alone". Extended barrel aging has produced soft oak
characteristics that compliment the fruit. A small percentage of Merlot was
added to give balance and a clean finish. It;s inky, violet color is typical
and creates a very beautiful wine in the glass, Enjoy with salads, pasta,
heavier cheese and meat dishes with your favorite sauce. Open the bottle 30
minutes prior to pouring, to allow the full fruit flavors to fully emerge. |
